Cider & Clay: A Sculpting Experience at Shiny Apple Cider

We’re so excited to welcome Queenston Pottery to Shiny for an afternoon of cider, creativity, and hands-on fun.
If you’re looking to add a creative twist to your typical tasting, this experience is for you. Perfect for catching up with friends, a unique date day, or simply treating yourself to something different, Cider & Clay brings people together through local flavour and artistic expression.
Using a leather-hard stoneware tumbler as your canvas, you’ll be guided through the sculpting process to create expressive faces, floral details, or meaningful textures that make the piece completely your own. No experience needed, expert instruction and all materials are included.
What’s Included
- One stoneware tumbler to sculpt and personalize
- All materials, tools, and guided instruction
- Professional glazing and kiln firing to 1330°C
- Finished piece will be dishwasher and food-safe
- One drink ticket included
- Optional Shiny Apple charcuterie box add-on for $15
Finished pieces will be available for pickup at Queenston Pottery in NOTL or can be shipped within 6–12 weeks.

Calling all pet lovers – it’s time to turn your furry best friend into a masterpiece.
Join us at Shiny Apple Cider for a cozy, beginner-friendly Paint-Your-Pet experience, hosted by Pour Choices. Whether you’re a total beginner or a creative soul, you’ll be guided step-by-step as you bring your pet to life on canvas. No drawing skills needed, your pet will be pre-sketched and ready to paint when you arrive using the photo reference you submit ahead of time.
This is the perfect afternoon out for besties, date days, solo creative time, or a fun family outing.

- A pre-sketched canvas based on your submitted pet photo
- Paint, brushes, gloves, and aprons
- Guided instruction (or freestyle it your own way)
- One pint of cider or glass of wine included
